We have moved…
Twisted Fiber Art has found a new home! A cute little cottage in Mason, Michigan with room for our whole production set up and even a tiny but charming space for a new showroom. We are so excited to throw open our doors to the public once again. We don’t have a date set yet but as soon as we do we will let you know.

On the road…
We have a few shows coming up so you can get your in person fix at our booth!

  • We will be in Jackson, Michigan at the end of the month for Wine and Wool. It is one of our favorite events of the year. Join us and enjoy a glass of wine while you shop!
  • We are heading on a road trip to Shaumburgh, Illinois outside of Chicago for Stitches Midwest. This show is ginormous so bring your walking shoes and we will see you there.

#WeStandWithOrlando

Our hearts and thoughts are with the families and friends of the victims, as well as all the members of the LGBTQ community and their allies. We would like to extend a loving hand to aid in this horrific tragedy. 50% of all sales of Roy G Biv will be donated to Somos Orlando (which translates to “We are Orlando”) through the end of July. Somos Orlando offers bilingual long-term services available to those who have been impacted by the Orlando mass-shooting. It’s goal is to “help victims and families find legal, medical and mental health resources in their own language”. Visit the #SomosOrlando website for more info.

Yarn Tasting Event

Join us on Saturday, July 9th on the lower level of Kean’s Store in historic downtown Mason, MI.  We are hosting two exciting workshops.  They are the perfect opportunity to see and feel each and every gorgeous yarn base we have to offer and learn how to make the most of every skein and cake.  The event consists of two sessions, see below for all the particulars. Purchase a ticket for your preferred session, or attend both at a discounted price.  Tickets will be limited to 40 per session. Spend time between or after sessions shopping at Twisted or around the square, have lunch at Mason’s favorite spots, or walk around our iconic Town Square. Please let us know ahead of time if there are specific colorways you are looking for, and we will try to accommodate.

We ask that all participants bring their own needles: sizes 4, 6 and 8

Session I: An Introduction to Twisted Fiber Art Yarns
10:30pm – 12:00pm  $35.00

Participants are invited to join us for coffee, doughnuts, and fruit as we delve into each of our delicious yarns.  This introductory workshop showcases the unique nature of our yarns and colorways.  The Twisted Team will give you the scoop on each yarn, offer project suggestions, and answer questions (as long as they aren’t about our secret process).

Session II: Best Practices for Self – Patterning Yarns
2:00pm – 4:00pm  $45.00

Participants are invited to join us for wine and appetizers as we dig in for a more advanced workshop. Meg and Anne will share their insights and ideas from over 20 years of combined experience working with and designing our unique self-patterning yarns.  Learn to choose the best patterns for your yarn, combine two colorways, and pick stitch patterns to show off your work!  Check out knitterlyanne on instagram for a preview of her specialty: Brioche!

Each workshop guest will receive many perks…

  • A 10% discount on all yarns purchased in person on the day of the event!
  • A custom project bag created by Twisted’s own Fawn West containing special gifts, coupons for local area businesses, and a treat from Kean’s.
  • Access to our Exclusive 2016 Event only colorway
  • Chances to win some pretty groovy Door Prizes.

Please be aware there are stairs to the event space.
